Here's Joseph the day before treatment #4. We rented a house at Sea Ranch for three nights and had a super nice time together. The kids got along, the weather was fabulous, and we had some tide pool adventures. Joseph and I shared important conversations about life, death, and decisions in our future. We reluctantly packed our bags to face another week. Another session in the green chair. Us

We are wrapping Joseph, you and your sweet family in a blanket of love. You are an amazing couple and an amazingly strong family unit.
My thoughts are scrubbing that cancer out of your lives forever.
I am reading the Velveteen Rabbit and came across this: To the boy he was always beautiful, and that was all that the little rabbit cared about. He didn't mind how he looked to other people, because the nursery magic had made him real, and when you are real, shabbiness doesnt matter... It made me think of Joseph. May the love of family and friends soothe all aches and pains right now, while Joseph must be feeling "Real." Your family is always in my thoughts and prayers.
